Overhauling your sash windows
We remove the existing casements & clean excess paint from the window frame, this allows the casement to run smoothly. Whilst the casements are out we router brush pile to all sides, top & middle rails. We replace the sash cord and service the pulleys, then refit the casements. We also fit new draft striped staff & parting beads. We can reuse all your original furniture - fasteners, eyes & lifts or offer you a wide range of replacements.

Repairs
Very few windows are beyond repair, despite what you may get told. Most windows need minor repairs which can easily be fixed with two-part filler or epoxy resin. If we feel the rot is too bad we will splice in new treated timber. Should the windowsill require repair we replace the whole sill in treated hardwood.
Double Glazing
We can install energy efficient double glazed units to your existing sash windows. We router out the rebates in your existing casements and fit high energy efficient slimline units. This method allows you to keep all the character and charm of your existing windows. Another option is to supply and fit new casements to your existing windows. These can be made to fit 16mm argon gas filled units. This method gives your windows a new look but for the fraction of the price of a new window.

Replacement
If your windows are too rotten or damaged and can't be repaired we can replace them. Our replacement windows can be an exact match to your existing window or modernised.
